Fire Risk Legislation update

The Fire Safety Regulations (NI) 2010 became effective 15th Nov 2010 whereby all non domestic premises must carry out a fire risk assessment. A suitable and sufficient risk assessment should be carried out by a competent and knowledgeable person.Fire certification has ceased and fire certficates are no longer valid. Enforcement will be via the NI Fire & Rescue Service.
